The International CIOFF® Festival “Kyparissia Sunshine”, has become an integral part of the cultural history of our town, Kyparissia, our Municipality & our Region. Every year music & dance Ensembles from 5 countries of the five continents display their own style and present a part of their tradition and cultural heritage to us. At the same time, they have the opportunity to feel and see close up our own style, our everyday life, our habits, our hospitality and our manner of safeguarding and promoting culture through the performances as well as through cultural events with the title : "Feeling our cultural heritage", concerning Mediterranean diet, our local cuisine & costumes, our region through time, traditional games, practices, visits to museums & archaeological sites, (Ancient Olympia & Peristeria Mycenaean tombs ), workshops. The International CIOFF® Festival, “Kyparissia Sunshine” is one of the most significant cultural events in our town, our Municipality & our Region for 16 years now and it is organized by the Educational & cultural Society of Kyparissia, (M.E.S.K.) with the financial support of our Municipality, the Municipality of Trifylia.
