During the folklore festival “European Youth Week” about 200 young people live together at the medieval Ludwigstein Castle for an entire week to sing, dance, play music, talk, work, and have fun. In the morning various workshops (choir, orchestra, arts 'n' crafts, sports, juggling ...) are offered. In the afternoon dances are taught to each other and in the evening one of the invited groups presents its music and dances to a greater audience.
