Folkmoot USA is held over the last two weeks of July in the mountains of western North Carolina. Over 200 dancers and musicians from countries all over the globe perform traditional dance alongside Appalachian and Cherokee dancers and musicians. Groups are encouraged to apply for participation two years in advance.
