FESTIVAL OF FOLK ARTS is a forum for living folk art. Organized in the historic Royal Buda Castle District, folk artists show the tricks of their crafts in visual workshops allowing visitors a chance to test their dextrity and creativity.
Apart from shows by traditional crafts masters, their wares are also for sale at the Traditional Handicraft Fair, while revival and traditional dance and music groups from around Hungary and the world performers are on the stage. Beside the craft demonstrations and Fair, puppet theate productions as well as children programs, traditional food shows and nightly dance house entertain the visitors.
