Alle zwei Jahre, jeweils am zweiten Wochenende im Juli, herrscht Ausnahmezustand im Schlitzerland. Die kleine osthessische Region taucht für einigeTage in buntes Treiben mit internationalem Flair. Folklore und moderne Klänge,Trachten und Jeans – nirgends treffen Gegensätze so harmonisch aufeinander.
Musik, Tanz, Party, internationale Folklore, Festzug, Feuerwerk und am Ende eine gigantische Polonäse durch die Altstadt – feiern Sie mit uns das Trachtenfest in Schlitz.
Every two years at the second weekend of July the whole Schlitzerland is going crazy. The small region in the middle of Germany will celebrate from Friday, 7th July till Monday, 10th July 2017, the so called Trachtenfest. It's an international music- and folklorefestival with artists from all over the world.
Music, dancing, party, international folklore, historical parade, fireworks and at the end a giant conga line through the medieval oldtown - join the party the Trachtenfest in Schlitz!Folklore and modern sounds, traditional costumes and jeans – no where else opposites clash so harmonically.
